JEGH prioritizes manuscripts that apply robust epidemiological methods, evaluate public health interventions, and assess the real-world impact of policies, programs, and system-level reforms to translate the findings into actional insights for policy and practice. JEGH welcomes interdisciplinary research that links epidemiologic methods with a broad range of global health domains including but are not limited to: · Health systems and universal health coverage · Health workforce development · Health financing and governance · Health promotion and disease prevention · Maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health · Sexual and reproductive health · Nutrition · Mental health · Environmental and planetary health · Climate change and health · One Health · Digital and data-driven health innovations · Global health security · Emergency preparedness and response · Humanitarian and refugee health · Migration and urban health · Health equity and social determinants of health · Implementation and policy sciences The journal does not accept case reports and submissions purely focused on basic (bench) science. .
