npj Environmental Social Sciences will consider research that explores the intersection of environmental studies, social sciences, and policy analysis. This journal aims to advance our understanding of the complex interactions between environmental and social systems as well as the formulation and implementation of effective policies for sustainable development, which will facilitate ensuring responsive, inclusive, participatory, and representative environmental decision-making at all levels. This journal covers a broad range of topics including but not limited to: Environmental Economics Environmental Sociology and Anthropology Environmental Politics and Governance Environmental Education Policy Analysis and Evaluation Behavioral and Social Change Environmental Scientific Communities.
