Precision Diagnostics in Oncology is an open access, peer-reviewed, online journal that considers original research, review articles, timely topic commentaries, and method papers that contribute to the understanding and application of advanced technologies and data analysis methods encompassing all areas of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine (including but not limited to the clinical specialties of anatomic pathology, clinical chemistry, hematology/hematopathology, cytopathology, blood banking/transfusion medicine, clinical microbiology and virology, clinical toxicology, molecular diagnostics, etc.). Precision Diagnostics in Oncology will place an emphasis on new and emerging quantitative precision technologies and approaches in diagnostics, such as: multi-omics in diagnostics mass spectrometry digital and computational pathology AI applications in pathology biomarker discovery ethical and regulatory considerations regarding data privacy, patient consent, and the use of AI and other big data technologies.
