Journal of Plant Growth Regulation is an international journal publishing original articles on all aspects of plant growth and development. We welcome manuscripts reporting question-based research using hormonal, physiological, environmental, genetical, biophysical, developmental or molecular approaches to the study of plant growth regulation. The journal also publishes reviews on highly relevant areas in plant growth and development, including interdisciplinary studies with an emphasis on plant growth and plant pathology or abiotic stress. The journal publishes original research papers on various aspects of growth and development, in addition to thematic issues with special Guest Editors, timely reviews of specific articles or studies, and short communications. The journal also welcomes short manuscripts describing Novel Techniques and Meeting Reports. Manuscripts that are purely descriptive in nature without attempting to investigate the underlying mechanisms of plant growth regulation are unlikely to be accepted.
