The journal covers a broad range of topics including but not limited to: Research on the causes and mechanisms of dementias Pre-clinical and clinical studies focusing on improving detection, intervention and prevention New methodologies and technology-based interventions Findings that challenge traditional field dogma Studies highlighting unusual clinical, pathological, and genetic findings Work focused on understudied populations and from underrepresented regions of the world Interdisciplinary research from the fields of behavioural psychology, sociology, public health, health economics and public policy Dementia services research The journal offers more choice to Nature Portfolio authors who are seeking a fully open-access and more inclusive platform for publishing their work. The journal is led by experts in dementia who collaborate to cultivate high-quality research.
