Doroshenko D. A Survey of Ukrainian History / Dmytro Doroshenko; introduction by Oleh W. Gerus. — Winnipeg : Humeniuk Publication Foundation : Trident Press Limited, 1975. — 873 p.

Анотація:
Ukrainian historical thought suffered a setback after the disintegration of Kyivan Rus in the fourteenth century and its partition and occupation by the Tatars, Lithuanians, and Poles. Historical studies were revived only in the sixteenth century in consequence of the religious conflict raging in Polish Ukraine between the Orthodox and Catholic Churches, in which both sides turned to history as a basis for their ideas. Among the polemics, the works o Hryhori Rohatynets, Ipati Potii, Meleti Smotrytsky, and Yov Boretsky were of special significance to Ukrainian historiography.
