Tungsten is a peer-reviewed, international and interdisciplinary research journal that focuses on all aspects of tungsten and related metals, including molybdenum, cobalt, vanadium, tantalum, niobium, rhenium, as well as their alloys and compounds.  Submissions are invited in all topical areas, ranging from basic aspects of the science of tungsten and related metals, their derived alloys and compounds to practical applications of such materials. The journal publishes high-quality articles that focus on, but are not limited to, the following innovative areas: nuclear materials, functional materials, hard alloys, refractory metals, energy materials, energy storage materials, compounds, low-dimensional materials, 3D printing, semiconductor materials, inorganic chemistry, metallurgy, properties and applications, simulation and modeling, surface treatment, composites, and recycling. It is intended to provide a wide-ranging exchange of research findings and a better understanding of developments and innovative trends in science and applications of tungsten and related metals, such as molybdenum, cobalt, vanadium, tantalum, niobium, rhenium, as well as their broad ranges of alloys and compounds.
