Fields of interest are the protection of the environment, the observation, comprehension and modeling of hazardous and extreme events and the mitigation of their impacts, as well as the development of new sensing tools integrating satellite information with surface measurements. The Journal represents a forum in which new ideas are developed with the intent of supplying results of applied sciences, having potential direct impact on the improvement of sensing (measuring), mitigating, and protecting urban, coastal, marine, and mountain environments. Content will be accessible for free in the first two years.
