Eini Haaja is Research Manager at the Pan-European Institute (PEI) at Turku School of Economics and Postdoctoral Researcher at Turku Institute for Advanced Studies (TIAS) at the University of Turku in Finland. She has specialised in International Business with an emphasis on the business developments in the Baltic Sea and Barents Sea regions. She has been involved in several industry-academia research projects and has published research on opportunities, risks and business network dynamics amidst changes in business environment, most recently focusing on the multi-layered challenges in pursuing green transition. Anna Karhu is Research Manager at the Pan-European Institute (PEI) in Turku School of Economics, University of Turku. Her research focuses on the intersection of business and policy. Specifically, she studies how these two actor groups interact in business environment transformations. She has studied these dynamics through institutional change perspective in context of pharmaceutical industry, international retailing and trade policy systems.
